About Beekeeple & Amelia

Last Updated on June 6, 2023

I’m Amelia Honeycomb, a beekeeper and author of this website. I’ve been keeping bees for over 10 years, and I’ve learned a lot about these amazing creatures along the way. I’m passionate about bees, and I’m always looking for ways to help them.

I started this website to share my knowledge and passion for beekeeping with others. I hope that my website will help you learn more about bees, and that it will inspire you to start your own beekeeping journey.

On my website, you’ll find information on everything from choosing the right beehive to harvesting honey. I also share tips on how to help bees thrive, and I offer advice on dealing with common beekeeping problems.

I’m always happy to answer questions, so please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’m here to help you on your beekeeping journey!

P.S. You might be thinking that my name is crazily well fitting for a beekeeper… but that’s because Amelia Honeycomb is my pen name!

I chose it because Amelia means “industrious” and “hard working” (like bees are), and honeycomb is… well… the stuff where you hope you’ll have a lot of honey end up!

I went for a pen name because I’m a really private person, but I really wanted to make this website to help my fellow beekeeple. I think what we share with each other is what really matters anyway.

Besides, I’ve always seen beekeeping as this kind of idyllic, fairytale thing. Like something a really cool and independent main character in a book would do. So that’s me. It’s what I choose to live like. I’ve made my personality all about that.

My Story

I first became interested in bees when I was a child. I was fascinated by their industrious nature and their ability to create something so beautiful (and tasty!) as honey. As I got older, I learned more about the importance of bees to our ecosystem. I realized that bees are essential for pollination, and that their decline is a serious threat to our food supply.

I decided to become a beekeeper in order to help these amazing creatures. I believe that everyone has a role to play in protecting bees, and I hope that my website will inspire others to start their own beekeeping journey.

My Goals

My goal is to create a website that is a valuable resource for beekeepers of all levels of experience. I want to provide information that is accurate, up-to-date, and easy to understand. I also want to create a community where beekeepers can share their experiences and learn from each other.

I believe that beekeeping is a rewarding hobby that can make a difference in the world. I hope that my website will help you learn more about bees, and that it will inspire you to start your own beekeeping journey.

Thank you for visiting my website!
